ender Platinum is an RT PCR test with a nasal and oral swab.

    How accurate is the test?

    Sensitivity: 95.7%

When do I receive my result?

    ender Fast
For tests taken until 7 pm, you will receive the result within 3 hours on the same day. For tests taken after 7 pm, you will receive the result by 8 am the following day.

What do I do if I do not receive my test result within the promised time frame?

Please check your spam folder first.

If you have not received any email, please visit the test center counter or call the helpline.

What do I do if I have tested positive?

Follow the instructions by the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH and avoid all contact with other people.

Do I need to make an appointment?

You can visit the test centers Terminal 2, Swiss Prime and Airside at any time during opening hours (registration recommended). For a visit in the test center Bus Station, booking an appointment is mandatory. A spontaneous visit is not possible.

    What are the opening hours?

Opening hours test center Terminal 2:
Mon – Fri from 5 am to 10 pm
Sat – Sun from 6 am to 10 pm

Opening hours test center SWISS Prime:
Daily from 6 am to 6 pm

    Opening hours test center Airside:
Daily from 6 am to 10 pm

Opening hours test center Bus Station:
Sun – Thu from 8 am to 6 pm
Fri – Sat from 8 am to 8 pm

During holiday periods: daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

When should I come to the test center if I need the result the same day I take the test?

Please check if the airline you are flying with requires a test result to be presented at check-in or at the gate and plan accordingly. You need to give your sample before 7 pm (ender Fast) or before 9 pm (ender Platinum) to receive the result on the same day. Despite our fast evaluation times, you should allow enough time. Note that there may be a queue.

What do I do if my test is invalid?

If your test is invalid, you will have to retake it at full cost. The following reasons can be responsible for an invalid test result:

    • incorrect sample collection
    • not enough saliva
    • spilling the contents of the tube
    • incorrect closing of the cap

Please read the sampling instructions and precautions carefully or watch our explanatory video. The staff on site will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.

    Is there an age limit?

Our tests are suitable for all ages, but it can be difficult for small children and babies to spit the saline solution into the tube instead of swallowing it. If not enough saliva is collected, the sample cannot be analyzed. Therefore, we recommend a visit to a pediatrician.

In which languages are the test result and the travel certificate issued?

The report is available in English and French.

Do I need a passport or ID and will the document number be stated on the test result document?

Yes, you cannot register for the test without a valid ID or passport. Other documents, e.g. driving license, are not accepted as identification. The number of your ID or passport is stated on the test result document. If you need the test result document for travel purposes, please take note which document – ID or passport – is accepted by your destination country.

    Questions about the antigen test

What kind of test do I take?

It is an antigen test with an oral and nasal swab, which is carried out by professionally trained staff.

The “ender Platinum” test with an evaluation time of 45 minutes is also an RT PCR test but is performed with a nasopharyngeal swab.

    How accurate is the test?

    Sensitivity: 91.4%
    Specificity: 99.8%

How do I receive my result?

You will receive an email with an encrypted file. Enter the password (your birthdate) and download your test result as a PDF.

When will I receive my result?

Usually, the entire process takes 15-20 minutes, and results should be sent to you as soon as they are available. In any case, you will receive the test result 2 hours after the oral and nasal swab has been taken at the latest.

What do I do if I do not receive my test result within the promised time frame?

Please check your spam folder first.

If you have not received any email, please visit the test center counter or call the helpline.
